The time to design the sweater is before one starts knitting it. Changing the plan after one has already started knitting leads to cursing, dropping back panels of stitches 20 rows, and general discontent.
Did you hear me guffaw? After what I posted yesterday? I started with a definite idea of what I was going to be doing, and it simply ran off with itself and has no remote connection to what I thought it was going to look like. None. But I do like mine. Good luck!
